The particulars and conditions of sale for a capital freehold estate, through which, for two miles, passes the turnpike road leading from Somerton to Ilchester, beginning at one mile distance from the former twon, and ending at two miles from the latter town; Consisting of nearly the whole village and parish of Kingsdon, together with the manor belonging thereto. This estate contains about fiteen hudnred acres of very valuable land, of which 330 acres are in hand, or let yearly, and the reaminder let on leases, for one, two, and three lives, many of whch are very old: and the principal property, on which is a good Mansion House, gardens, and offices, occupied by the Lessee, Mrs. Jolieffe, is held for only two lives; but part of the lands used there with, well known as the first grazing ground in the neighbourhood, called, the Nidens, are held only for one life; and each lot is so divided, as to form within itself a desirable property, and each purchaser, generally speaking) will have it in his power to take immidieate possession of some part of his purchase; all of which will be sold by auction, By Mr. Raine, on Tuesday, the 9th day of December, 1800, and the two following days, at the Red-Lion Inn, in the town of Somerton, in 129 lots, unless disposed of by private contact before the 1st of December, the sale each day beginning at three, o'clock.
